Booking:  A 50% deposit is required within 2 days of receipt of quote to secure your date and confirm your order.  Ten (10) working days PRIOR to collecting your cake, full payment is due.    Should your order be placed within the same week of expected delivery / collection – Full payment must be received within 4 hrs. Should your proof of payment not be received, it will be understood that this was an enquiry only.

Cancellation:  A cancellation fee for our time, administrative and other direct costs, as well as a reasonable amount for lost opportunities will be charged for on a sliding scale as follows; 100% refund if the event is four (4) months away, a 50% refund if the event is 1 month away and 0% refund if seven (7) working days away from the event.

Date Changes: Should you need to change dates and only if there is availability, we will do our best to accommodate you.

Design:  As every order is handmade your picture supplied is used as inspiration only. Colours may differ slightly but we will do our best to deliver as close to your request as possible.  Should you wish to change your design, you will be invoiced for any additional costs if there are any.  These will need to be requested no later than ten (10) days and provided there is time to assist with the changes, this can be discussed.

Photography:  Our cake images are used on social media platforms and we reserve the right to publish these without compensation to you.

Fresh flowers:  Whilst all care is taken to place clean flowers on your cake, you acknowledge that fresh flowers are not a food product and may contain pesticides, insects, dirt or other contaminants.

Collection:  Once your order has been received by the customer it will be the customers liability and responsibility for the safety and condition of their order.  Sugalicious Cakes will not accept any responsibility for any damage to the product that may occur once leaving our care.

Please keep the following tips and suggestions in mind at all times as Sugalicious Cakes will not accept responsibility once your order has been delivered or collected.

When you collect your order, kindly ensure that you carry your cake,  cupcakes or treats straight.

Transport your cake, cupcakes or treats on a flat surface, either the boot  or floor of your vehicle.

Store your cake, cupcakes or treats in a cool place, away from direct  sunlight.  Keep your aircon on whilst in your vehicle.

Should you put your cake in the fridge, please note that the fondant  may  become sticky or sweat but it will still be edible.  Remove the cake  or cupcakes at least 1 hour prior to serving.  This way they can reach room temperature.

Our cakes may contain dowel sticks or supports.  Do not smash anyones  face into the cake as this can be extremely dangerous.

Weekdays – no later than 16h30.

Saturday – no later than 16h30pm on Fridays.

Sunday – Friday no later than 16h30pm or Saturday morning provided arrangements have been made prior and are in writing.

There are no collection on Sundays.

Our cakes are handmade so should you be ordering a cake as per our images shown please note that certain details may vary and colors may not be exact.
